Rip and I had THE best time at First Baptist Church Vicksburg this past Tuesday night! From the second we pulled up to the church parking lot, we both knew…there’s something special about this place! And we weren’t in the building 10 minutes before we realized what it was — it’s the PEOPLE!
We walked into a beautifully decorated fellowship hall, and saw gold mums in the center of every table centered on burlap toppers, with acorns and bite sized chocolates peppered all around the mums. Men dressed in white shirts and black pants and ready to serve a room full of cackling ladies all night! Every southern fiber in me was going off!! I loved the sight, the sounds and the entire atmosphere of seeing a room full of kind and gracious and servant-hearted people gathering together for one reason – To fellowship and be encouraged in their individual lives! THAT never gets old! Actually, Hebrews 10:24-25 tells us that nights like that, we actually need to be doing “all the more as we see the Day approaching.”

Rip and I wanted to share how our Father allowed us to simply inspire them all to live with faith that amazes! We hope you will look past our shaky video skills ,… oh, and at the end of the video, we ran out of battery and Rip grabbed up his cell phone to try to capture the rest…but unfortunately THAT cut off too! No, this isn’t a professional recording job, but it’s our prayer that you will be inspired that we all, as children of God, we all “get to live” with Amazing Faith! It’s the Fall season and we couldn’t think of a better name for our new series! Rip will have his own videos just to the men, and I will have my own videos just to the women…but together we will call us into an even deeper love for:

Rip’s new web page is called, “Pulling the Rip Cord” and that will be the place on this website where men can find “all things manly” in how to live in the safety of God’s Word – practically!…and just from Rip! We are so excited about this!
In our new series, we will offer practical, very doable and biblical inspiration to inspire us all to fall into a deeper, more certain, immovable, and devoted love in the most important and most valuable areas of our life! God is love…according to 1 John 4:8, and there is no other characteristic that truly sums up what our life is to display to a watching world more than love!
Before we move any closer to the holiday season, let’s gather up and have some fun Falling In Love…all over again!
