Most Valuable Person

“…I AM WHO I AM…”  Exodus 3:14

Super Bowl!  Super Bowl! MVP!  MVP!  These were just a few of the chants I heard at the 2016 National Football Conference last night. The Panthers knelt and prayed before the game which melted my heart.  I think many of them know where their strength comes from.

As my husband and I were walking into the game;  along with our friend John; we stopped as the flag was being carried out. It took hundreds of people to carry out the rolled up flag.  To watch it spread out across the whole field brought tears to my eyes. I’m still proud to be an American.

Needless to say, this was an amazing game.  It got me thinking! What will it be like when a huge crowd of Christians kneel at the first sight of their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!  What kind of fan fare will there be?  I can only imagine.

While sitting at the game; I began to picture in my mind; a few thousand years of believers, gathered together around the Most Valuable Person to ever live.  He is now and forever will be!  We will forever be with HIM!  Oh my goodness!  We will be shouting: “Worthy is the Lamb that was slain, to receive all blessing and honor and glory and power forever!”  Praise the Name of Jesus!

Oh dear reader; how I pray you and I make Him the MVP in our lives.  I believe after we are ushered into the presence of our Lord and Savior, we will first be on our faces, in awestruck wonder that we are there.  In Heaven!  With Him! When we are able to stand, there will be cheering like we have never heard before.  Elation!  We get to be with our Jesus forever!

Prayer in Motion:

Oh Lord my God; I worship You in Spirit and in Truth!  You are worthy, worthy, worthy to be praised.  All the honor, glory and blessing belong to You God.  I stand amazed in Your presence.   If you know this song:  sing it; right now.  “Holy Spirit You are welcomed here.  Come flood this place and feel the atmosphere. Your glory Lord is what my heart longs for.  To be overcome by Your presence Lord.”  I love you Lord!  In Your Name I pray.  Amen!
