Revive Us. We worshipped. We prayed! We fellowshipped with other believers. If at all possible; GO! On October 17, an AMC Theater in Concord Mills; aired a live simulcast called “Revive Us.” Kirk Cameron brought together a strong panel of four well known Christian pastors, authors, teachers and leaders in America; Ben Carson, Francis Chan; George MacDonald and Jennifer Rothchild. Empowered by God’s Spirit; each one answered courageously and boldly the questions asked of them.
Although not mentioning either candidate; Mr. Cameron asked pertinent questions regarding the future of our nation’s children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. We are not only voting for this generation but for those who will come behind us. What legacy will we leave those so dear to our hearts?

My heart was gripped to hear that twenty five million Christian Americans did not vote in 2012. What? Voting is our inalienable right. I am not advocating for either candidate but why would you choose to disregard your blood bought freedom? The future of these United States of America is at stake. Our descendants future is at stake. It’s a matter of who will fill the seats in our Supreme Court. As the Supreme Court goes; so will go our Nation.
The very heart of this Revive Us simulcast; is prayer and God’s Word. “If my people,” that’s every believer; who are called by my Name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face,…” Oh dear reader; I am begging you to get on your face to seek the face of a Holy and Righteous God. Then God will “hear from heaven and forgive our sin and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Please do not shun your God given right; because you are displeased with our choice of candidates. “If my people..” You are God’s child. Humble yourself and pray and then go vote for whomever God tells you to vote.

Oh God, please forgive me for not praying BIG prayers for these United States of America. By Your grace and mercy, I am Your child. May I pray and act on what I know to do. You; Oh God, put kings in place and remove kings. May Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. In Jesus Name and for His sake I offer up this prayer. Amen
