Lisa Rippy’s Newest Bible Studies…and more!

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Hello friends!!

Well, now that Rip and I are back from the Send 2015 Conference, (…insert Hallelujahrrr!!), we are still without words in response to everything we experienced!  We both wanted to grab a selfie of our time together because we KNOW that “there is no such thing as a coincidence in the life of a Christian” and we knew we were both divinely placed on those newly installed little padded chairs in the Bridgestone Arena…for such a time as this!  We spent such a powerful 2 days spent with Louie Giglio, David Platt, Vance Pittman, J.D. Greear, D.a. Horton, Kevin Ezell, Matt Carter, and so many more powerfully anointed men of God who He used to enlarge our hearts to His missional purpose for our life…Oh, and the worship of God led by The Passion Band, Shane and Shane and Casting Crowns was our little taste of eternity, too!  Y’all, when Rip and I drove home Tuesday night, we both looked at each other and couldn’t say a word. No words…nothing…. We just held hands for miles down the interstate with the silence settling it all for us –

WE ENCOUNTERED GOD! … and we’re ready for the next steps with Him!

After a few miles down the road, Rip did say, “Baby, I needed that. All of it. And one thing that’s staying with me is when the worship leader said, “Will you let go of the rope and not fall in despair, but fall into dependency. Dependent only on God.” I’ll admit, I like living “secure”, not always comfortable, but when I feel “secure” it’s because everything in my life is predictable and manageable. To a point. It still feels like I’m holding onto a rope, dangling but gripping that thing to hold on. When he said, “let go of the rope” that has stayed me, baby.”

I just sat there in our little Altima listening to my man’s heart flow right on out of his mouth and all I heard was what I knew Rip could sum up into just one word – Faith.  Rip was talking about being a man who lived in faith, by faith, and with faith in only Jesus Christ. Not in himself. Not in his career. Not in his employer. Not in his bank account or in his own reasoning. Just God. Just faith in God…and to have feet and hands that reflect that kind of letting go of the rope of self-made security.

Pray for him? Pray for me?….for us? As we keep letting go and letting God lead us.

I wanted to share this video with you but keep in mind that the FIRST Sunday that I mention at the beginning of this video was last Sunday, and this Sunday, August 9th, is when we will meet in our home at 7:00.

But I am so excited about the new bible study that we will be working through together, that I wanted to personally invite you and your friends and family! Also, share some answered prayer with you, too.

The Bible study, Being a Godly W.O.M.A.N. will be made available soon in PDF and until then….let’s spread the word! I wrote this study in 1999, and each lesson will be through video and available ONLY on this website. The My Interior Inspirations Youtube Channel will offer “snippets” of each lesson, but not the full lessons.

Lastly, as soon as our friend and webmaster, Stephen Foster, has it up and ready to go you will be able to “subscribe” to My Interior Inspirations, that will give you access to all bible studies, FULL renovation videos of our personal home and the renovations and decorating we are providing in the homes of our clients. Also, the “subscription opportunity” allows you access to the NEW Interior Inspiration printables and downloads!!  And YES…we are finally going to be able to offer the “Interior Inspirations Home Binder”!! Rip and I are so excited and have been working very hard and can’t wait to share it all with you.

Today (Thursday) through Sunday (August 9th), please share this one blog post with whomever you’d like…and let’s gather together for a time of studying God’s Word. Also, keep stopping by because I am going to be posting some videos and photos of some Interior Inspiration services we have been providing lately that (we hope) will inspire you too!

Grace and Peace,

lisa

    Lisa
I just finished lesson 15 of your absolute lessons. I just wanted to thank you for sharing your gift of teaching. I have not found a home church yet, so your videos have been precious to me. I have been a child of God for many years. Unfortunately, I made some errors in my last church by looking and trying to please man and I should have kept my eyes on the Lord and obeying him. This has made it difficult to find a place to worship. I appreciate the joy you have in your ministry.
