Bring Us Out to Bring Us In

Then He brought us out from there, that He might bring us in, to give us the land of which he swore to ur fathers…”Deuteronomy 6:23

God’s Word encourages us and equips us for daily life on planet earth.  We do not have to fear what our future holds. In Deuteronomy 6:21-22 Moses wanted the Israelites to share with their children, all the great and mighty things the LORD had done on their behalf.  He wanted them to pass those truths down to the next generation.

Pay close attention to verse 23 of Deuteronomy 6.  Moses declares, “He brought us out from there that He might bring us in, to give us the land which He swore to our Fathers.”  There was a clear purpose for the deliverance of God’s people.  He will always keep His promises.

From where does the Lord long to bring you out?   He wants to deliver you from your captivity.  At this moment; you can see no way out.  You are a slave to your enemy; whether you were taken captive or walked willingly into enemy territory.

The LORD Himself wants you to be free to serve Him.   We are to have no other gods before us.  Anything that steals your focus off of the LORD your God becomes an idol.  It consumes your thoughts and depletes your energy.  Honestly; you wonder how you will make it through.  The weight is sometimes more than you can bear.

Remember, God wants to bring you out of captivity, so He can bring you into the land of freedom.  “When you are free in Christ, you are free indeed.”  If you will seek Him on the matter of your captivity; He will lead you onto the path of righteousness for His Name’s sake.

Does it seem like you’ve been wandering in the desert for four hundred years?  Ask Jesus to bring you out so He can bring you in.. to the land which He swore to your Fathers.

Prayer:

Oh God, please bring me out, so You can bring me in to the land which You swore to my Fathers. You know the way I have chosen, even when it was not the one You ordained for me. Where You lead me I will follow.  Order my steps and direct my path Lord, all the days of my life.  In Jesus Name I pray.  Amen
