SUNDAY – B.A.G. Woman – Obedience – Week 4

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

It’s Sunday morning at 4:00am, and I’m up …and this is the first time I’ve been able to get on this website!

Evidently, this lesson on Obedience is NOT one the enemy wants you to have because every obstacle in the world has prevented this lesson from posting!!

It all started on Thursday night at 7:30pm when I was driving home from Murfreesboro, TN, and found out that my parents would be coming to see us THE NEXT DAY around 3-4:00pm. Rip and I had been laying hardwood flooring all week and our home was totally disjointed…furniture piled in other rooms, dust and dirt from the project everywhere…there literally was small disasters in every room. So, I crashed at 8:30pm Thursday, got up 2:30am, and got busy working in the house before having to leave at 9:15 to go purchase paint for a client’s kitchen table set.

I met a new client at 11:30, got to the kitchen project by 12:30, left her home at 2:30 and sped home to try to get something done before my parents arrived in TN. We all went out to dinner and had a great time!! Trace was with us, and it was just so much fun!!  Oh, but let me back up….before leaving the house at 9:15, my computer wouldn’t upload. I wouldn’t do one thing!

Saturday, I was up at 3:00 to get more work done, before leaving at 8:00 to decorate with a friend in her home. (Mom got to go with me.) Got back home around 2:00, and while she rested at their hotel, I kept going in the house. This whole time my son, Trace, was with my dad showing him the town and taking him shopping in Cool Springs. I think there was nothing I was personally enjoying more than the thought of my son alone with his grandfather!! What a HUGE answer to prayer!

But my sweet husband came home around 4:00 and he joined in the work…right before my parents got to the house around 5:00ish..Rip made supper for us (his famous chicken stir fry) and we all gathered around the table for a family meal. It was wonderful!

So far, the past 2 days had been soooooooo full and on the go, that I never once even picked up my computer to see if it was working, until right before crashing last night. I even kept my cell phone in the office for these 2 days …. just focusing on my family and getting our home back to order and being hospitable. They never get to come and while they were here, we have been ALL IN!

Well, it’s Sunday morning and I’m going to teach the lesson and make a new & fresh recording and instead of trying to upload 1 large video, this lesson is going to be in 3 mini-lessons. It’s the only way to get things to upload quickly.

I sure have MISSED being with you…and as sleepless as these past few days have been for us, it’s been absolutely wonderful being with my family. If you have family that live right around the corner, you are tremendously blessed!  What I would give to be able to pick up my mom and take her lunch more often. What I would give to see my husband working out in the shop with my dad or out hunting together. So, when they are here…Rip and I want to do all we can to put out the red carpet and just give them our full attention — they deserve it! We love them dearly!

I’m so happy you had this much needed family time and this I.I. Family understands I’m sure. I do. I commend you for leaving technology and your hectic schedule to concentrate on family and make some beautiful memories. God had this or you would have been working instead. Pam. ????????

I don’t remember how I saw your parents were coming to see you, Facebook I guess, but when the video wasn’t uploaded I said a little prayer for you. I thought bless her heart. Renovations, parents in town, teaching a Bible Study how’s she gonna do it all!?
You were on my heart and I’m glad y’all had a great time ????
