Tile and Granite and Stones…Oh My!

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

When I walked into this fabulous showroom of tiles, granites, marbles, stones, and friendly faces…I could hardly contain myself! This is one service that I most enjoy! Helping people who are ready to do a little remodeling, OR they are building a home and need help picking out some of the most important touches – the flooring, countertops, showers & vanities tile/granite/stones, etc.  It can be overwhelming because the options are endless.

So where do I start?

I always start with the clients. I think about her or them. Then, with photos of their space in hand, and the budget I am working within, I begin with “color.”  In this particular client’s remodel, we are taking her existing Master Bathroom and giving it an entire gut job. Here is her before photos.

Everything about this “his” space will be gutted…light coming down, all new vanities, fixtures, flooring, a new standup shower and soaker tub.

The “her” side will be completely remodeled, too. All new vanity, lighting, paint color changed throughout, new flooring, added storage, etc.

After taking it all in at the Tile and Granite store, and considering the direction we’ll be going in for some other rooms and spaces in the client’s home (extending the remodeling beyond just the Master Bathroom), I absolutely loved this combination:

With the natural sunlight that will come into their bathroom, these titles will literally glimmer, the flooring and granite will show all its movement and veins of color! It will be such a soothing and still warm and inviting place for them to retreat.

Now,…it’s time for me to go for my morning run and then home to start into some SERIOUS house-caring of my own! Time to pull out my Norwex and get going! Floors to polish, windows to wash, bathrooms to tidy up and a mess of my man’s laundry to iron! It’s going to be one amazing and FUN day, y’all!

Have a blessed Thursday!
