So, please read today’s blog post and watch our first video in this very intentional series – “Get Organized”.

And if you don’t mind, I’d love to hear from you in what you’re going to be doing to get organized too!

I think you have me motivated! I’ve been going through a lot emotionally and it has been easy to just let my housework go. My house is in a terrible mess. I used to have a housekeeper hired but had backed that off when my husband was fired from his job. I am considering doing it again but I was just saying the other day that it’s not going to get any better unless I get off my butt and get in gear! I know it would help get me out of this bit of depression or funk I’m in too. I’ve always been an organized or OCD type person so this drives me crazy.

It’s so motivating, too, Dee Ann, when we can look at our entire home and realize, “This has all been given to me by the Lord to care for, manage, and use for His glory.” It just changes everything! I’m so glad you’re inspired to get goin’ and because I’ve been there myself (experienced depression and anxiety) I can tell you first hand that when we step into the roles God has designed us for and that includes “joyful janitors” in our home, it makes such a difference. When we have folks that can come in and help us, that is great, and when we can’t, it’s still all very do-able … it just may mean taking baby steps. I love your heart!
