Christ Is Born

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

“While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her first born, son.  She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.”  Luke 2:6-7

Jesus our Lord was born!  Everything changed!  He made a way for the lost to be found, the sin sick to be healed, the blind to see; and the souls of those who die in Christ; will go straight to heaven.  Oh what a Savior!  Let the earth hear His voice.

No wonder the angels sang.  The heavenly host were praising God. Myriads upon myriads of angels were glorifying God, praising God and saying; “Glory to God, glory to God in the highest!”

Peace was made possible, on earth, as it is in heaven.  Good will can now be spread to all men!  Greed and selfishness can be defeated. Our desperately wicked hearts can now be forever changed! The One who came to die for the sins of the whole world is born!  Those who believe on Him shall be saved for eternity but also given abundant life on earth.  He came that we “might have life and have it abundantly.”

“Christ, the Savior is born!” Who are You Lord?  Why would You come to save a wretch like me?  “I once was lost, but now am found, was blind but now I see.”  You came to open my blind eyes, continually restore my wicked heart, and draw me nearer, nearer, to You Jesus.

Here are a few lines from an old song. “How can I, say thanks for the things that You have done for me; things so undeserved, that You gave to prove Your love for me. The voices of a thousand angels could not express my gratitude. All that I am and ever hope to be, I owe it all to Thee.  To God be the glory!  With His blood He has saved me.  With His power He has raised me.  To God be the glory, for the things He has done.

CHRIST IS BORN!  HALLELUJAH!

Prayer in Motion:

Oh God, we rejoice that Christ is born!  This is the day we celebrate Your birth!  Thank You seems trite but THANK YOU LORD for coming, for me.  BEST GIFT EVER, I rejoice that You came and my name is now written in the Lamb’s book of life.  Glory, glory, hallelujah!  In Jesus Name I pray.  Amen!
