B.A.G. Woman – WISDOM (Prt 2)

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Hi ladies! Guess what? Ashley Lancaster, a young lady who I just love her to death, and who is a frequent contributor to our ministry, created a cover for us to slip down into our 3-ring binders!! Thank you so much Ashley! It’s just perfect!

here’s the cover….

BAG Cover

If any of you want to get creative with our bible study, please do….if you want to create scripture memory cards or sheets for us, or bible markers, etc….anything! I know I sure would be grateful, and too, I just love celebrating the talents God has given y’all! Ashley whipped that cover up in no time, and it just really touched my heart that she would do something like that for us.

And if you are just now joining us and want to know where to go to print off the study, you can DOWNLOAD THE ENTIRE BIBLE STUDY BY CLICKING RIGHT HERE.

It will take you to the FIRST post where I was introducing this study. Scroll down to the bottom of the post and you will find large black letters that tell you to download the study. Once you place your cursor on those letters, it will turn red. And your PDF will pop right up. But

In this video, I say several Bible verses — just in the course of the teaching — I use Scripture throughout in making points. BUT, I seldom mentioned their references. So, I will post all the verses that I recite tomorrow (Sunday) with this post.

After the “WISDOM – Prt 1,” a comment was written and I don’t want any of us to miss it:

“Oh Lisa what a personal word for me! Thank You for this lesson. What a confirmation from God about everything He’s been speaking to me personally! I think I’ve mentioned before that I was a Worship Leader for a very large church back home but I was also a College Sunday School teacher. I have since left that denomination (which HIGHLY regarded theological KNOWLEDGE) and what a difference it’s made in my life. My “Quiet Time” consisted of “Lord, show me what I can teach. Show me how to order my set list”. Oh, I had knowledge alright but not a clue how to make USE of it. On the outside, I certainly looked the “Christian part” but on the inside, in my private life, I was living a powerless life. If I just read one more book, studied one more hour, went to one more conference somehow it would all change. Knowledge without knowing how to put it into action personally as a child of God was a fruitless pit I was sinking in everyday.”

Ladies, to have a form of godliness, yet deny it’s power (2 Timothy 3:5) is not where any of us want to be. This precious lady and her entire life changed when the Lord opened her eyes to see the “walk” in wisdom, the “use” of knowledge, that was absent in her life. I love you Tracie, and thank you sister, for being brave enough to be honest with us. I have been blessed by your testimony so much!

O Lord, help us! Help all of us to live knowing you, and not only knowing about You.

I sure love having you with me in this special time!! I love you all so very much and am praying for you!

Lisa

Hey Ladies! Happy Sunday!! Just wanted to let y’all know I found the coolest thing today at Dollar Tree. In the school section they have index cards on a ring in white or color. It has a vinyl cover on front & back and a little strap to keep them in place. I’m putting all my homework verses on these. Super easy to keep up with and portable too! I spend a lot of time at sports practices and it’s a great time to just review without having to fish individual index cars out of my purse ????

That is a great idea! A friend of mine gave me something similar….cards on a huge key ring, and I love it! Thank you for sharing Tracie!

You had me in tears! Today, you were speaking directly to me. I’m struggling today with depression and self doubt because of hitting wall after wall for many years in a certain area of my life. You are amazing and I just wanted you to know how much this study has meant to me.

Oh Angela, I’m so thankful the Lord has this for you at this time in your life. I will be praying so specifically for you and here’s a verse for you – “God is within her, she will not fall. God will help her at break of day,” Ps. 46:5. Because He is within you, you will not fall apart..emotionally, spiritually, mentally, …you will not lose it. Also, He has promised you in that one verse to help you, “at break of day.” That means, “just one day at a time.” Rest in His Word …find total rest in Him. And then, I hope you’ll be with me for the “Obedience” lesson, because it very well be another lesson that will speak to your heart. Love you!!

As I read your comment about falling apart, this came to mind:
I had been telling Jesus that at times I feel I am on the brink of a nervous breakdown, and I think He brought me this passage:
“Many find me a mystery, but You are my rock and my shelter: My soul’s asylum.” (Psalm 71:7 in The Voice)
I looked up the definition for asylum: It is protection, shelter, support, a place of care, a place of retreat and security, a place of rest and safety, a refuge.
Jesus is everything I need, He is my soul’s asylum.
I thought of Fred Hammond’s song, “Everything to me.”

Love this!! Love the song, too….to think that our own heart is being sheltered by the Lord, … love the rest that one thought brings.

    Hi Lisa,
Wow, this study is huge. Thank you, thank you. I see I have a lot of growing to do in Jesus.
I know He will be faithful to finish the good work He started in me.

I downloaded the study, and have been following along, but I think I may be missing some pages.
    I don’t have a page 7, pages 23-27, pages 48-52.
Did I miss them somehow? They weren’t in my download.

    • Lisa Rippy on November 8, 2015 at 1:43 pm

Those pages were intentionally left out because I didn’t want anyone to go ahead and “go there” without first hearing the lesson prior…but they’re coming up next.
