7 Habits of a HAPPY Household – Meet Shirlee Mcguire

I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am to introduce you to my dear friend, Shirlee Mcguire!! Oh my!  If you were to look up the word “loving”- you’d find her as its definition! One of the most loving homemakers! She loves all people – all things “homey” – all things family – and loves her Lord! She has faced many trials and troubles in her life, but in and through them, her faith has only grown stronger and stronger…and it strengthens and refreshes others.

Back in TN, I was up in the middle of the night with a tremendous burden on my heart and pounding in my mind. It all just kept me awake. So, I prayed and sat and prayed and sat … but I then picked up my Mac, went to my Facebook account and for some reason, did something I never do … I reached out to a friend in my moment. That friend just happened to be Shirlee. She, too, was up but nursing her child. As we surface chatted, it wasn’t long before I opened my heart to her, and she loved me back with encouragement and prayer that touched me deeply.

She is a frequent friend on our Facebook group page. Just this week, she posted a beautiful post showing her kitchen but sharing how grateful she is to “do life” with her family in her home. She just shared an end of the day word to all of us -a word of blessing.

So it is my honor to share this sweet friend with you and please, send her a “friend request” because you WILL be blessed by her absolute loving nature! It is always FUN to connect with folks who are like-minded and a source of REAL encouragement, especially in the same season of life you are in, too!
