7 Acres Mart

7 Acres Mart is our new online store starting with only 2 inspirational items that Lisa refers to as “happies” for your home. The abbreviated name of their new store is: 7AM — the time of day when Rip and Lisa get crankin’!  So, 7AM is imprinted or engraved on each item!

Where did  7 Acres come from? It’s the name they have given their own home nestled among acreage full of beautiful hardwoods and a couple of rolling hills where plenty of wildlife love to visit. What better name to give their online store than the place where they get most of their own inspiration and their favorite time of day!

 Serve You Trays

II SERVING TRAYS

Jpeg

This serving tray is hand-made by Rip. He chooses the wood, hand carves every piece, and sands them down before Lisa covers them with Tudor and Early American stains. The stain combination pulls out the wood grains beautifully. Finished with a thin layer of poly and a couple of iron handles, the Serve You Tray makes a great 1st piece in the 7 Acres Mart because of what it symbolizes. Serving. It can be used to serve some cookies or placed on a bed serving up a good book and fresh flowers.

“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve,” Matthew 10:45.

The verse that comes with the tray is:

“It is the Lord Christ you are serving,” Colossians 3:24

The Beauty Box

II Beauty box 2

II Beauty Box

The wooden box is another hand-crafted piece Rip makes from Xtra-thick pallet wood that he strips, sands, hand-carves, and then nails it all together. Lisa treats the box with the same finishes she uses on the Serve You Trays, or you can order one raw; only lightly sanded but free of stains.  The photo shows how we will use ours – lined with mason jars full of water, I put some fresh fall flowers on dinner table.

These boxes can be filled with anything! Pine cones and sprigs of cypress stuffed all around them. Mason jars full of candies for topping ice cream. Candles surrounded with acorns look great. In the Spring, they can be filled with easter eggs nestled in grass, and in the summer, fill it with fresh fruit. In a home office, line the box with mason jars of pens, paper clips, staples or any office supply. You can also use them in a bathroom to hold small glass containers full of cotton balls, Q-tips, and mini-soaps. The list goes on and on in how these boxes can be used.

The verse that comes with the box is:

“The glory of Lebanon shall come to you, The cypress, the pine, and the box tree together, To beautify the place of My sanctuary; And I will glorify my dwelling place” Isaiah 60:13. (NKJV & HCSB)

Come to Me, Cups

(photo available soon)

There are 4 cups in this collection. Lisa chose a pure white coffee/tea cup representing the truth of Christ’s forgiveness.

Come, let us discuss this,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they will be as white as snow;” Isaiah 1:18.

They have a nice sturdy 4-finger handle for a firmer grip.

“Cling to discipline. Do not relax your grip on it. Keep it because it is your life,” Proverbs 4:13 (God’s Word Translation)

The verses that are printed on each cup are Scriptures that have, through the years, continued to be some of Lisa’s  life verses.

The verse that comes with the cups is:

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest,” Matthew 11:28.

I’m Lisa Rippy, a happily married woman to my wonderful Rip. We have 5 children and we live right outside of Madison, MS. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always had a love for all things “homey” from decorating, simplifying, remodeling, organizing and simply turning a house into a "Home Sweet Home." My passion is helping families live the life they long for in the interior of their hearts and homes. It all requires thought, planning and work that Rip and I both love to do! But if there is anything at all I can do to help you and your home life, please reach out to me. Nothing would thrill me more than to inspire YOUR heart and home!
